Terms & conditions for web-development


 

This agreement is between ‘The Purchaser’ and ‘White-Webs’ for the provision of web development and design services. All such quotes including 12 months free web-hosting with White-Webs

2.  Payment Options
20% of the agreed quotation price is required in advance of commencing work to cover domain name purchase and associated set-up costs.

The remaining balance of 80% of the agreed quotation must be paid within 15 days * of agreeing the website is in its finished format. Access details for the client’s website administration area will not be provided until full and final payment has been received.

Payment can be made by cheque * (* please allow 5 days for clearance) credit or debit card or Direct Debit (complete attached form).

2. Domain Names
Domain purchasing costs must be paid in advance, and is included in the advance payment of 20%. The domain name will remain the property of the purchaser until the time allocated for renewal by Nominet

3. Returned Payments
A charge of £12 will be made for any returned payments. In addition, for accounts where replacement payment is not received within 7 days of the non-payment notification, web-hosting services & access to the sites administration area will be suspended.

4. Non-Payment
Where payment is not received within 7 days of the due date, web-hosting & access to the administration area of the site services will be suspended.  It will be re-instigated when a payment equivalent to full and final settlement of the web-development costs have been received by White-Webs.

5. Interest
Interest of 1% per month will be charged on non-payment of final invoices.

6. Cancellation
Cancellation of this agreement can be made at any time, however web-development costs incurred by White-Webs must be made, non-payment for work completed satisfactorily will be pursued through due legal process.

7. Use of the Website Content
Where non-payment results in withdrawal of web-development and design services, White-Webs will pursue “the purchaser” through the appropriate legal channels for full payment and compensation where it is established that content has been used in other web-services.
